This tutorial will show you how to create a Buy Now button in Dreamweaver. This is assuming you have already added a Paypal extension to your Dreamweaver application. You can find a number of them at https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/pdn/3p-solutions-components-outside. In this example, we will be using the extension developed by WebAssist.com. Click on the Paypal tab in the Objects Panel. Place your cursor in the location where you would like to add a button. Now click to add a Paypal button. You can click to add a Single Item Purchase button... or a Paypal Add To Cart item (you will need a Premier or Business account to do this)... or you can add a View Cart button. In this example, we will add a Single Purchase Item button. Start by entering the email address that is associated with your Paypal account. Select the button design you wish to use. Alternatively, you can use your own custom image. Simply enter a URL that points to your custom image. Enter a name and item number for the product you are selling (this is optional). Then enter a price. You can provide your buyer with the option to buy more than one of the item or service that you are offering. This will add a Quantity box to the order form. Enter your shipping charges. This is option depending on whether you are shipping hard goods, or whether you are including shipping in your product price. You can also add a Handling charge. Specify if you do NOT want your buyers to provide a shipping address (usually when you sell virtual goods). You can optionally provide an additional text area where buyers can add any additional information or instructions to the order. If you wish to display your logo in the payment pages, enter a URL to the logo here. Note that it will need to be located on a secure page (where you have an SSL Certificate installed). You can enter a destination URL to which you would like PayPal to send your customers once their payment has been successfully completed. You can also enter a destination URL to which you would like PayPal to send your customers if they wish to cancel their payment. Review the details of your button. If all is accurate, click to finish the creation process. As you can see, the button has been added to the page. Let's add a View Cart button to the page as well. Select the button design you wish to use. Alternatively, you can use your own custom image. Simply enter a URL that points to your custom image. After reviewing the details, click to finish. Let's take a look at the results on the site. As you can see, the buttons have been successfully added. You are now able to create Buy Now buttons in Dreamweaver.
